A firm seal is a device commonly given by Company Formation Agents when registering new companies for clients. The company seal provides a way of embossing documents using the company name and number as a method of sealing the document. This seal is usually used in place of signatures from the authorised representatives of the company.

    How does it work?

The business seal is known as an embosser as opposed to a stamp that would contain ink of some form. Once the seal is pressed onto paper it generates an increasing impression from the information contained from the two dies.

The organization seal has two dies containing the knowledge to become embossed on paperwork. One die have a raised impression and yet another die could have the inverted picture of this information. You just insert a piece of paper backward and forward dies and press the lever, or squeeze the plier, and also the two dies bond making a raised impression around the paper in the information contained about the dies.

This embossing process is really a simpler replacement for classical seals which involve using wax plus a stamp. Wax could be heated and melted onto a document which can be then impressed with all the stamp containing engraved information. The engraved information would create the feeling from the wax and therefore seal the document. Because it is improper to heat wax in several situations the corporation seal offers a simple alternative by impressing straight into paper.

If you wish to have a wax effect from your company seal you may use self adhesive wafers which can be meant to look like wax. The wafer is merely put on the paper before embossing, then emboss in the middle with the wafer along with the raised image is a bit more looked as would occur having a wax seal. Company seal wafers are usually supplied in red (to look like wax) or gold.

    Various kinds of company seal

Company seals can be found in two formats.

The lowest priced seal is often a plier type seal which has two dies, one on each side with the plier. Because the plier is squeezed, with paper relating to the pincers, both the dies get together and emboss the paper. This plier type company seal offers an economical and portable means of sealing documents but is bound rolling around in its reach from your regarding paperwork and is also not able to emboss an adequate image into thicker
